In 2020 my wife and I embarked on a massive "down to the studs" renovation including relocating all the plumbing and kitchen, a new garage and altered roof line. Steve and the Dovedale team were fantastic; skilled, punctual, polite and hard working. We were in daily consultations with Steve and he valued our input. He constantly thought of the smallest detail always with a keen eye on what the finished product would look like. He was meticulous. Steve also took the time to discuss costs and the options to keep our budget on track. He also allowed us to help with the daily clean up and purchases again in order to keep our costs down. The project was completed on time and on budget. Steve is very knowledgeable and he coordinated and worked well with all the sub-trades.
My wife and I are so happy with our finished home. It all started with the decision to hire Dovedale.

Steve proved to be the perfect person to work with to realize our ideas. No job was beneath or beyond him - or too big or too small. He was fast, efficient, and organized, with an old-world attitude toward quality workmanship. On any task, he used the shortcuts, anticipated the pitfalls, and knew the code. He always showed up on time or called if something was going to make him late. His work ethic never flagged no matter the time or day. Whatever the challenge, he never took the easy way out or cut corners. And there was no blaring radio, no bad language, and he always cleaned up afterwards.
